From the Author
This is a short story covering one day, somewhere around the end of Hire a Hero and the beginning of the forthcoming Hero to the Rescue.
It is normal narrative from Jon's perspective. While not contributing to the ongoing story as such, it does answer a few questions from the Facebook Group.
It was released for free to those on my Mailing List and both the Facebook Page and Groups, before being uploaded to Kindle.
It's essentially a fun story about Christmas Day on Jon's ship, which could have been written into Hero to the Rescue, which felt better to release as a stand alone story. It's intended as fun, with some small gems in there for you to find.
I hope you enjoy reading it.

A nice holiday aside in the hunter legacy universe

While it is not necessary to read this Christmas novella as part of the hunter legacy, it is definitely a fun diversion. In the story, the AI Jane takes it upon herself to organize a Christmas celebration for her friends. All of the gang from the hunter legacy books make an appearance. Can't say much more without giving spoilers.
